Description:
  • This beautifully embossed, octagonal coin depicts the image of Laxmi - the goddess of wealth on one side and 'Sri' - the word that symbolizes her on the other side.
  • This pure silver (92.5) coin, richly plated in gold reflects the attributes of the goddess - wealth and prosperity. Laxmi is shown seated on a King Lotus, with two elephants on either side showering her with the waters of the holy Ganges river. During 'Laxmi Puja' on Diwali, her image is bathed with milk, honey and 'ganga jal' or water from the Ganges.
  • It is annointed with sindoor or vermilion powder and grains of rice. Flower-petals are placed as an offering on and around the coin.
  • Height: 3.5 cms (1.4")
  • Width: 3.5 cms (1.4")
  • Weight: 20 grams.
